    Get started

    Installation

    Install, update and remove Rexa on macOS.

    Requirements

    • macOS on Apple silicon or Intel, with git installed.
    • An agent CLI on your PATH: claude, codex, cursor-agent, opencode or pi.

    Install

    Terminal
    curl -fsSL https://rexa.sh/install.sh | sh

    This installs Rexa.app in /Applications and the rexa command in ~/.local/bin. Open a new terminal to use rexa.

    You can also download the app from the releases page.

    Update

    Rexa checks for updates every 4 hours. When one is available, click the badge beside the version in the sidebar to download it, then click again to restart. From a terminal, run rexa update.

    Uninstall

    rexa claude setup --remove   # repeat for each agent you use
rexa uninstall

    rexa uninstall removes the app, the rexa command, and Rexa’s settings, state and logs. Run it with --dry-run first to see the list.
