Introduction
What Rexa is and the words the docs use.
Rexa is a macOS app for running coding agents and reviewing their work. You run the agent CLIs you already use in its terminals, give each task its own git worktree, and review the changes with the editor, git, pull requests and a browser in the same window.
Features
- Agents: run Claude Code, Codex, Cursor Agent, OpenCode or Pi, and see which ones are working or waiting on you.
- Worktrees: one branch and folder per task, so agents work in parallel without touching each other’s files.
- Git review: read diffs, stage, commit and sync.
- Pull requests: review, merge and follow CI from GitHub or GitLab.
- Comments: mark lines in code and diffs, then send them to an agent as one prompt.
- Editor: language servers, multiple cursors and Vim mode.
- Terminal: shells and agents keep running when you quit.
- Browser: preview your app, leave notes on elements, and let agents drive a tab.
Concepts
- Project: a folder you open, usually a git repository.
- Worktree: a checkout of the project on its own branch. Tabs, terminals and agents belong to one worktree.
- Agent card: a live agent in the sidebar, showing whether it is working, waiting on you or idle.
- Session: one conversation with an agent, readable as a transcript and resumable.
